Paige Peterson, AuD, PhD, CCC-A, FAAA, ABA
Director Hearing & Balance
Dr. Paige Peterson has been with our practice since 2012. She received her Audiological training from the University of Wyoming (Laramie, WY) , Univeristy of Kansas (Lawrence, KS) and University of Kansas Medical Center (Kansas City, KS). She began her career with service in the VA Health Care System (Colmery- O’Neal VAMC) in Topeka, KS and later transferred to New Mexico to serve within four Native communities. In 2010 she left government service to pursue research and network applications of direct patient care via telemedical applications. As the founder and President of Teledoc™, her research currently involves direct patient care for both adults and pediatric populations using tele-audiology as well as exploring other telemedical solutions for improving the quality of patient care.
Utilizing a tinnitus and amplification system herself, Dr. Peterson believes that the journey to better hearing does not end with the fitting of amplification and requires an on-going relationship between patient and provider. She strives to provide patient-oriented, quality care that helps each patient reach their full potential and realize a better quality of life. Dr. Peterson is Board Certified in Audiology.
At the Hearing & Balance Center of Austin, Dr. Peterson specializes in neurophysiological, balance and hearing related disorders for both adults and children. For our patients with hearing loss and tinnitus, the latest in hearing aid technology and tinnitus management is available. Patients are seen on a daily basis by appointment.
